About Us
and our Terms and Conditions

Julian and Elizabeth Campbell originally trained together as Stress Management consultants and Hypnotherapists with a leading edge UK training company, Lambourn Court International plc. We opened our practice on the Essex/Suffolk borders in March 1994 and over the following years we have broadened our range of therapeutic approaches and specialisations through further training and continuing professional development.

We are both also trained and qualified practitioners in NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), Meridian Energy Therapies (EFT), TimeLine Therapy and Life Coaching. We keep up to date with advances in our fields of expertise through active continuing professional development (CPD) and other trainings and workshops, including hosting and running of the Colchester NLP Group. How to find us

We are available for consultations (strictly by appointment only) at our consulting rooms in Ipswich, Colchester or Manningtree.

We are not available for drop-in consultations.

We do have full diaries but we do not work to rigid office hours, so we can usually offer clients an initial consultation reasonably quickly. There is little need for prolonged courses of treatment and this means we usually find we can usually avoid long waiting lists.

Our Ipswich office is in the centre of town in Museum Street, a couple of minute's walk from Marks and Spencers click for map.

Elizabeth works on Wednesdays or Thursdays in Colchester at the Trinity Centre in Trinity Street click for map.

By invitation, we will see people at our home at Brantham, near Manningtree. This is often the most convenient for people from Clacton, Harwich and the Tendring District, or those needing appointments later in the evening or on Saturday mornings, as well as for people who wish to avoid town centre parking. We are about 15-20 minutes from central Ipswich and 25 minutes from central Colchester. This is a beautiful and peaceful spot overlooking and close to the Stour estuary and a good place for riverside walks

Home visits may be possible in some cases. Please ask if getting to us is a problem, as we may still be able to help you.

Coaching and, in some cases, therapy is available by phone. ElectroMagnetic therapy is also available through our Distance Programming service.

Appointment confirmations and specific instructions can be sent to you by email or post.

Fees

Our aim is to make all treatments as effective, rapid and affordable as possible to suit each client’s individual needs. In all cases we will explain and agree with you the fees and method of payment at the outset. We will give you an indication or estimate of the number of sessions likely to be needed. A free intial consultation is offered without obligation for you to take it any further. At all times you will be in control of how much you will need to pay.

The length of sessions will vary between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the kind of work we do with you and your needs. In certain cases sessions may be conducted by phone. Fees for different therapies or personal development programmes are available on request.

Non standard fees or concessions, particularly for groups, may be applicable in certain cases and for prepayment for blocks of sessions.

We can accept payment in cash, by cheque or by Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards.

Cancellations

Making an appointment forms a contract between us and we will reserve that time exclusively for you. In the event that you need to alter or cancel a booking, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible, so that your appointment time may be offered to someone else. Please note this applies as much to initial consultations, as to all subsequent sessions. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for missed appointments and those cancelled with less than 24 hour's notice.

Guarantees

We do cannot guarantee you success of any therapeutic assistance we may give you: it would be irresponsible for any therapist to do so. No one can make you change the way you think or feel, you always have the choice. If you are unhappy or have questions with any aspect of the treatment(s) or service offered, we ask that you talk to us as soon as possible, preferrably at the time or as soon as possible afterwards. Please note that the EasyStop Quit Smoking programme comes with a written guarantee of free back up sessions.
